  • After witnessing a solar eclipse, Nat decided this was a sign from God. Hence that 8 days later there is a slave rebellion
  • It's Time

  • Nat begins trying to convince his friends to join his rebellion
  • ... The time is now ... no longer will we be abused ...
  • *Chanting* Nat! ... Nat! ... Nat! ...
  • Nat Turner working in the fields as a Virginian slave
  • More slave owners!
  • Saloon
  • 65 whites and somewhere between 100-200 slaves killed
  • Solar eclipse that brings forth the rebellion

  • All in favor of slave laws say I, and those if favor of freeing slaves say YeYe

  • Virginia's Senate passes stricter slave restrictions after ALMOST freeing slaves, which infuriated the northern abolitionists 
  •  With the fear of something like this happening again, the Virginia Senate ALMOST out-ruled slavery. But instead, they restricted even further the slave regulations
  • Nat Turner's rebellion ended up being one of the multiple causes of The Civil War
