Storyboard Text

  • After Vestal Virgin, Rhea Silva, claimed her sons Romulus and Remus where born of divine conception from Mars, King Amulius threw the babies into the River Tiber in an attempt to be saved from the gods' punishment
  • Romulus and Remus encounter King Amulius later in their lives. They kill him, but they choose to found their own city instead of accepting the offer to become kings of Alba Longa. 
  • Romulus and Remus quarrell about where to co-found their city so Romulus take initiative and begins his city on Palantine Hill without Remus.
  • Remus mocks Romulus's city be jumping the wall erected on Palantine Hill
  • Romulus becomes furious and kills his brother Remus
  • Without his brother, Romulus founds the city of Rome, named for himself
