Storyboard Text

  • The trial for Tom Robinson's case begins with Judge Taylor as the Jury and Atticus is supporting Tom by trying to prove him innocent.
  • Raaahh!
  • Sheriff Heck Tate says that when he got to the scene, Mayella was badly beaten and he had seen Tom Robinson fleeing from the area.
  • Mayella's father says that he saw Tom Robinson beating his daughter through the window and that he had decided to stay out of the situation.
  • Mayella claims that what her father had said was what had happened and that Tom had indeed raped her against her attempts to break away from him.
  • Tom tries to explain truthfully that Mayella was seducing him and was trying to tempt him in to her home. He tried to escape/resist without hurting her.
  • The trial ends with Tom being found guilty and is thrown into jail for a crime he didn't commit.
