What is that!
It is a movement for more democracy. It help spread equality among the newer settlements and people in the South and West. It also was an extension of the vote in eastern states to men without property. Andrew Jackson used Jacksonian Democracy to his advantage by expanding the vote to restructuring federal institutions and it gave him more votes to win the election. Because he used a good tactics to help him win proves that he should stay on the bill.
I think andrew Jackson should stay on the $20 dollar bill because of Jacksonian Democracy.
Another way that proves Andrew Jackson should stay on the $20 bill is Spoils System. Which is A method of appointing officials to the government of the U.S. based on political connections.
Andrew Jackson used spoils system to his favor because it maintained an active party to gain votes. Also because he extended the spoiled system proves he should stay on $20 bill.
How did Andrew Jackson use Spoils System to his favor?
Even though Andrew Jackson did a lot of good things during his presidency. He did do a few things wrong which is The Indian Removal Policy.
Yes, he used this to his advantage because it continued the growth of the United States without the interference of the Indians. Because he kicked out the Indians who were native to America is one reason he shouldn't stay o the bill.
Isn't that when a law passed by Congress and Andrew Jackson allowing the U.S. government to remove the Native Americans from their eastern homelands and force them to move west of the Mississippi River.
It is a belief that the states' interest should take precedence over the interest of the national government. Andrew Jackson used this to his advantage because it Proclaimed Federal Power over States' Rights. Because he used he used another good tactic and helped the states gain power proves he should stay on the $20 bill.
Andrew Jackson also used States' Rights. Which is also another reason he should stay on the $20 bill.
I forgot what that is? Also how does that prove he should stay on the bill?
I think he should stay on the bill bill because of the War on National Bank. Which is the 2nd Bank of the U.S. that held Federal Government money and lent money to state banks, blamed bank for the economic crisis of 1836. He used this to his advantage because it showed he could stop a major problem. Due to him vetoing the bill and stopping a problem shows he is worthy of staying on the $20 bill.
What do you think about Andrew Jackson being on the $20 bill.
