Now that we have some food. The process begins.
During cellular respiration the mitochondria takes the chemical energy of the food molecules and turns it into ATP.
So, you might be wondering what a mitochondria is or what ATP is. Well I will explain them both to you.
So, first I will start with mitochondria. Mitrochondria is a cell organelle found in both plant and animal cells. It creates energy for the cell by using cellular respiration.
Next, is ATP. ATP is the cells energy . Our body needs this ATP to function because our body is made of cells, so our body needs energy.
Additionally, cellular respiration happens all the time. This is the process of cellular respiration. I will show you some diagrams.
