  • Adventure to Sad City
  • Why Sad City is Sad
  • Hey Abe! Awesome city you have here!
  • This place isn't awesome. It sucks here everyone who lives here is sad... You know this is sad city right?
  • Adventure to a new place
  • Well i'm glad I left Sad City. Everyone was so sad and it made me sad. Well it's a new day and a new economy!
  •    This is John. John is traveling to different countries around the world to learn about them and how their economies operate. John is visiting sad city. The home of the command economy.
  • Welcome to Same Place Island
  • Hi there! This is a really cool place you got here.
  • Well hello there. Who are you and how did you get to our isolated place?
  • Everyone is sad here because they live in a command economy. Which is an economy where the government is controlling just about everything every economic aspect of every citizen's life. These people want to live in a market economy where the government is still present but the people have much more economic freedom.
  • An odd place to be
  • This is a very different way of life you guys are living here.
  • Well you see John, they way we live is undisturbed and very customary, our only rules are our morals guiding us.
  • John has left Sad City in hopes of seeing another place with a different economy. Little does John know he has traveled to Mount Normal, where it's a traditional economy where the people live the way they always have.
  • Welcome to Normal Place
  • John has arrived at Same Place Island. The economy is much different than to what most people are used to. The people of this island live in a traditional economy. They live the same way their ancestors lived. By hunting for food, farming, living in tribes, living without much modern technology.
  • John has learned a lot about different economies, with this one being the most interesting one. But there is one more economy that John has one more economy to visit, a mixed economy. An economy like a market economy except there is little government involvement as opposed to no government involvement in a market economy.
  • He is right, Normal Place's mixed economy  is very much alike a market economy just that the government is involved but not that much  and only to help. Like the U.S. is a market economy but there is no pure market economy out there so it can be argued to be called mixed as would any other market economy.
  • Hi there! Can you explain to me what a mixed economy like this is? And how is living here?
  • Why of course! You see John our economy is very similar to a market economy, where everything is invested to the people, but our mixed economy is the same just our government steps in every now and then
