The Radiation- In 1896, Henri Becquerel found that rays emanating from certain minerals penetrated black paper and caused fogging of an unexposed photographic plate. Also his doctoral student discovered that only certain chemical elements gave off these rays of energy.
Radiation- Heat transfer through invisible waves objects do not touch
The conduction- Heat can be transfer-ed from one place to another with 3 methods, conduction in solids, convection of fluids, radiation through anything that will allow radiation to pass.
Examples of Conduction- automobile engine, roasting marshmallows, picking up a coin, and saving a life with body heat.
Examples of Convection- boiling water, radiator, steaming a cup of hot tea, ice melting, hot air balloon, frozen material thawing.
convection- Heat flows from warm to cold (gases&liquids) known as convection currents.
