Storyboard Text

  •
  • In the start of the rock cycle the magma or lava cools and forms intrusive or extrusive igneous rock depending on if its lava or magma.
  • Either way there is going to be an igneous rock. Then the igneous rock turns into sediment by compression.
  • Now after its sediment it turns into sedimentary rock by pressure and compaction.
  • After it is sedimentary rock it turns into metamorphic rock by heat and pressure.
  • The metamorphic rock turns back into the lava or magma because of major heat and pressure.
  • Once it turns into magma or lava it hardens and the cycle starts all over again.
