  • That is not fair at all for people like us
  • Why do I have to use the money I worked very hard for on someone else?

  • This is great! I'm living under a roof getting food, drinks, and other essentials for free!
  • You selfish colonist! Your too focused on your own life!
  • Britain won the Seven Years War and got land in North America, where they issued a Proclamation in 1763, which prohibited American colonists from settling west of Appalachian mountains. There was a wall separating them.
  • Townshend Acts
  • We will boycott BRITISH GOODS!!
  • The government directed a tax on all materials printed for commercial use in the colonies, which consisted of newspapers, pamphlets, playing cards and dice.
  • Repeal of townshend acts
  • I don't think we should stop taxing americans. Therefore lets pass the tea duty.

  • The Quartering Act which was in 1765 required the colonists to house British soldiers and provide them with food, water, and other essentials.
  • Boston Massacre
  • This was a period in time where the british government forced the american colonies to pay taxes on items towards the british and their government.
  • At this point, the taxes were lifted on items except one, which was tea. The colonists were still unhappy and wanted no taxes in general. The main person in charge of this movement was Lord North.
  • The reasoning for this massacre was because of unpopular taxation on tea. The colonists were protesting and calling british soldiers bad names. As a result of the riots, 5 colonists were shot.
