  • Battle of Gonzales
  • Come and take it

  • Battle of  Alamo
  • The Mexican government requested the Texians to return the cannon, but the Texians refused to. Then the Mexicans sent troops to Gonzales to retrieve their cannon. At the end the Texians won.
  • Goliad Massacre
  • Texians began to debate their plans about how to deal with Mexico. There were two different parties at the debate, the war party and peace party.
  • Battle of San Jancinto
  •  Santa Anna and his 1800 Mexican troops fought against 200 Texians and Tejanos at the Alamo. He and his army won, but this battle has encouraged more Texians to fight for indipendence.
  • Treaty of Velasco
  •     The Goliad massacre occoured on March 27, 1836.  400 prisoner of war from the Texian army was executed  by the  Mexican's army in the town of Goliad, Texas . Among the Texian prisoners were their commander,Colonel James Fannin.
  • On April 21, 1836, Sam Houston and the Texian army engaged and defeated the Mexican army in a fight  that lasted only 18 minutes.  
  • On May 14, 1836, two treaties were signed by Santa Anna & David Burnett to put an end to the Texas Revolution.
