  • Come Back together!! Unite! Unite! Unite!!!
  • Sun Yat Sen is a political idealist who was looking to unify China under a republic. After Yuan Skikai dies (who is the named president) the country is divided into two camps.
  • National Against Communists 1928
  • The Deijing were ruled by warlords in the north and Sun Yat-Sen and warlords organized a rival government.
  • Long March 1934
  • Are we ever going to get there??
  • A revolt fueled by Nationalists and communistic ideas of unifying China again.
  • Japanese Invasion 1937
  • BOOM!!!
  • Chiang Kia Shek a nationalist leader begins a purge of all the Communist leaders in order to take over. The nationalists win against the Communists in the end. So communists leader Mao Zedong is forced out of the land.
  • Mao led his followers in hope to rebuild communism elsewhere. Somewhere not in nationalist control.
  • The Japanese invasion of China brought a stop to the Civil War. Both sides took on Japan. The nationalists army took the largest blow and was weakened, and Communists actually grew in strength.
  • Lets put our differences aside and defeat Japan.
