UNIFORM CIRCULAR MOTION PROJECT
This storyboard does not have a description.
Ball is circling around the rim
You mean the uniform circular motion of the ball circling the rim before going in?
Nice shot dude! How'd you do that?!
Well, the uniform circular motion of the ball rolling around the rim means that it's going in a constant circular movement.
Basically, you need to have enough centripetal acceleration so that the ball will go into the hoop.
The centripetal force causes the ball to go toward the center of the hoop and go in.
And since the basketball has a smaller circumference than the hole in the hoop, it rolls around and then falls through...usually! LOL!
Now I get it! Thanks for explaining it to me Mr. Wizard! LOL!!
