The previous night, sitting down in the chair during dinner where the beautiful blonde woman with the Fury had sat and she waved at Bruno indicated that she is a kind person compared to the Fury whom Bruno believes is the "rudest man he has ever met" because he sat at Father's place at the head of the table. Bruno eavesdrop Father and Mother's conversation something about moving out from Berlin after the Fury left.
Bruno thought about moving and frowned. He wasn't particularly bothered if Gretel was being sent away because she was a Hopeless Case and caused nothing but trouble for him. But it seemed a little unfair that they all had to go without her.
Why do we have to move ?
The house in Berlin was enormous but the new house had only three floors: a top floor where all three bedrooms were and only one bathroom, a ground floor with a kitchen, a dining room and a new office for Bruno's father.
I hate this house. This is nothing compared to Berlin
