A boycott started by the Hashim clan, later won leaving Muhammad and his followers to leave Makkah.
After Muhammad moved from Mekkah to Medina, the Mekkans still felt threatened. In 628 B.C.E. they made a truce with the Muslims and broke it in 630 B.C.E. leading with a fight. The Mekkans surrendered and then Muhammad forgave his enemies.
