Storyboard Description

Students transition from recess after the bell rings by lining up quietly into the hallway in which I discuss class expectations for our next activity. After transitioning into the classroom students are engaged and searching for instrumentals on YouTube for beats they can write a song to which will assess what they have learned in this unit.

Storyboard Text

  • The bell rings, students put their equipment away and line up.
  • Before entering the classroom we do a check-in in the hallway to briefly discuss what is expected once we enter into the classroom.
  • Students take their seat and are ready for the class activity.
  • Students use the classroom iPads to search for instrumentals to write their math songs which will showcase what they have learned in this math unit.
