Students transition from recess after the bell rings by lining up quietly into the hallway in which I discuss class expectations for our next activity. After transitioning into the classroom students are engaged and searching for instrumentals on YouTube for beats they can write a song to which will assess what they have learned in this unit.
The bell rings, students put their equipment away and line up.
Before entering the classroom we do a check-in in the hallway to briefly discuss what is expected once we enter into the classroom.
Students take their seat and are ready for the class activity.
Students use the classroom iPads to search for instrumentals to write their math songs which will showcase what they have learned in this math unit.
