Storyboard Text

  • Victor receives a letter from his father, informing him that his brother, William, has been murdered. He immediately heads back to Geneva.
  • Justine convinces Elizabeth and Victor of her innocence but is soon executed. Victor feels incredibly guilty.
  • How could this have happened?
  • Victor arrives in Geneva too late, and the gates are locked for the night. He spends the night wandering the woods, and sees his creation near the spot where his brother was found.
  • My creation! He must have killed William!
  • The next day, a photo that belonged to William was found on Justine, proving her guilty of the crime.
  • How could this happen?
  • I know she is innocent, for it was my creation that killed William. If I tell them, they’ll think I’m crazy!
  • This is all my fault. Now two people have died because of my creation.
  • Victor becomes nearly suicidal but travels to the family home at Bellerive. He wanders to the valley of Chamounix and is stunned by the view. This temporarily distracts him from grief.
  • Nature can truly be beautiful and calming.
  • On a rainy day, Victor wakes up feeling miserable and walks to the summit of Montanvert. At the summit, his creation finds and approaches him.
  • What do you want from me, Demon?
  • Let me tell you my story.
