Storyboard Text

  • The stroll to the Theater
  • I'm so happy I get to do this with you, Mary.
  • Our American Cousin
  • Forsooth...
  • Pray tell...
  • Oh! That's so funny.
  • The State Box
  • I am so bored.......
  • Hahaha!
  • Abraham Lincoln and his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, strolled down the sidewalk until reaching Ford's Theatre.
  • John Parker got an idea
  • I have an idea!
  • They were watching a rendition of " Our American cousin, a three-act play by English playwright Tom Taylor. The play is a farce whose plot is based on the introduction of an awkward, boorish, but honest American, Asa Trenchard, to his aristocratic English relatives when he goes to England to claim the family estate.
  • Meanwhile... at the bar
  • So, as I was saying
  • While The president and the First Lady were enjoying the play, a police officer named John Parker was guarding them in the state box.  He was thirsty and really bored. Doing nothing.
  • The Murder
  • Oh no! Abe!
  • (BANG!)
  • Oh! That's so funny.
  • Instead of keeping his post, John Parker left to go get a beer. Allowing the assassination to occur.
  • Hahaha!
  • While in the bar, he sat and drank just 9 feet away from John Wilkes Booth, an actor who had been conspiring to murder the president. Nearly ready to carry out his plan.
  • Oh! That's so funny.
  • As Booth slunk down the lightless hallway, he snuck into the box while the President was laughing and using a derringer pistol, shot him in the head. Ending the poor, Tycoon-like president's life.
