  • George and Hazel are sitting on the couch watching TV. It was a program with ballerinas dancing.  
  • Falling Action
  • George and Hazel see their son, Harrison, on the TV. He is wanted for escaping prison.

  • Why are you crying?
  • I don't remember. It was something sad on TV.
  • Harrison picks one of the Ballerinas to be his bride and dances with her. The Handicapper General walks through the door and kills both of them.

  • She is as still as a tree.
  • George went to get a beer during the dance and forgot about what had just happened. He comes back to see Hazel crying on the couch. 
  • He asks her what is wrong and she doesn't remember. She thinks it was something sad on TV.
