Storyboard Text

  • Well the journey itself wasn't hard or difficult it was just that the flight was really long and monotonous.
  • How was the journey coming to the States like for you at the time.
  • I had a lot of spare time on the flight. During this time I kept myself occupied such as reading or watching a movie.  I was thinking if I would like staying in the States and if I would ever get used to it.
  • What were your thoughts overall during your journey over here.
  • I wonder if I would like living in the States. I am a bit scared and nervous but I need to be strong.
  • To be honest I was a little scared. I had some idea what to expect but it was like walking into a dark room. I tried not to think much about it though. I stayed strong during the flight.
  • Were you scared when you were coming to the States? How did you overcome that fear.
  • Yes my brother and sister were really proud of me that I was moving to the States and they wished me the best of luck. My parents on the other hand were sad and started crying. I told them it was okay and I would keep in touch with them on the phone in the States.
  • What was your families reaction when you were leaving and when you were at the States.
  • Don't worry mom and dad I will be okay.
