Well the journey itself wasn't hard or difficult it was just that the flight was really long and monotonous.
How was the journey coming to the States like for you at the time.
I had a lot of spare time on the flight. During this time I kept myself occupied such as reading or watching a movie. I was thinking if I would like staying in the States and if I would ever get used to it.
What were your thoughts overall during your journey over here.
I wonder if I would like living in the States. I am a bit scared and nervous but I need to be strong.
To be honest I was a little scared. I had some idea what to expect but it was like walking into a dark room. I tried not to think much about it though. I stayed strong during the flight.
Were you scared when you were coming to the States? How did you overcome that fear.
Yes my brother and sister were really proud of me that I was moving to the States and they wished me the best of luck. My parents on the other hand were sad and started crying. I told them it was okay and I would keep in touch with them on the phone in the States.
What was your families reaction when you were leaving and when you were at the States.
