Why Do people say that? is it because we use it so much?
ever wondered why people say "without maths, there is no life"
Let's talk about something useful when we need to get to know triangles better, notice the blue triangle poster on the wall, we will ably the rules of sine cosine, and tangent on it, these are all rules of trigonometry that are important in our daily lives
These rules have an important function in math
so what are the rules of Cosine, Sin and Tangent
well, for starters all the rules have something in common, 3 sides, called perpendicular, hypotenuse, and base. for example, laying this blue triangle flat on the ground will make the bottom long side the base, and the top long side the hypotenuse, the side that connects the two is most of the time on a 90-degree angle and is called the perpendicular
The 3 rules have some specification, for example, cosine is the quotient of a triangles base over hypotenuse. furthermore, sine is the result of perpendicluar over hypotenuse, and tangent is the result of perpendicular over base of a triangle.
so, how do we define these rules? my partner here will explain!!
so you might be wondering why we talked about this subject of trigonometry especially in detail?
the answer is... look around you! we have so many aspects of our life that we can apply trigonometry to!! for example when creating a blueprint of a building the laws of trigonometry play a major role, because if angles are measured wrong, then there won't be many happy people in a flimsy building that looks like it's about to crash
