Look at this! They all have the same particles that are positioned in a certain way to make up the organism. I think I will call the particles a "cell".
Today I'm observing living things under a microscope to see if they have any correlation with eachother
I remember Hooke talking about a new molecule he discovered that makes up all living organisms. I'm pretty sure he called it a cell. If plants are living, then they should be made of cells too.
Since plants are made of cells, I wonder if animals are too? They have to be!
If a plant is a living thing and an animal is a living thing, and they are both made up of cells, then that must mean that every living thing is made up of cells!
The other day I figured out that cells make up all living things. If cells make up something, that makes them a unit of structure. Because a cell is the smallest unit and is what every living thing starts out as because there isn't any other living thing that is smaller than a cell, that makes the cell a basic unit of structure.
today in the lab i discovered that cells can not just appear, so this means that diseased cells come from healthy cells
