Tollund man was about 40 years old when he died which was about 2300 years back (The Iron Age). His last meal was porridge or some sort of grain. He was only and the only thing bugging him were pin worms
Guards/people/servants brought the Tollund Man to a Bog to hang him but they had to take care of him as he was actually a sacrifice and not a criminal
Many believe that the Tollund Man was a sacrifice to the gods of whoever they worshiped back then, so the Tollund Man was hung either by himself or by others. There have also been two or three bodies near Tollund Man when he was hung
Later on in 1950 two brothers; Viggo and Emil Hojgaard, were cutting peat for fuel, they then saw the top a head and called the local police. Unlike the other bodies, they thought that the Tollund Man was recently murdered because of how the Tollund Man looked. They asked a scientist to look at the body and discovered that it was really old and well preserved.
Tollund Man is displayed at the Silkeborg Museum in Denmark
