DIY Seismograph Storyboard
This storyboard does not have a description.
The first exhibit the visitor will see is the Earthquake Exhibit. Where first information about earthquakes will be presented.
After the information about earthquakes is presented, the visitors will perform the interactive activity for this exhibit: the DIY Seismograph.
There will be a seismograph that will "measure the motion of the ground." But in reality it is a visitor shaking the table.
The seismograph will "read" the waves and create a print out of the waves. The waves are created when a marker is shaken when the table is shaken.
As the table and the marker shakes, the visitor will pull out a piece of paper with marks that represent the waves of the earthquake.
Finally, the visitor will try to guess the magnitude of their earthquake.
