Alem and Mr Kelo were having there holiday to England and when they were going through passport control, they were stopped many times and eventually Alem and Mr Kelo didn't like it. After a while Alem asked why they had burnt hair and his dad explained it was called ginger.
The men at the counters were asking many question about where they had come from, If they had anything with them, who packed their bags and also why they had 2 bags for such a short time. Alem didn't like the way he had been asked so many questions about himself neither did Mr Kelo however he was still trying to keep calm.
Eventually they arrived at their hotel and the man was saying to Mr Kelo about how it was a very nice place. Mr Kelo was trying to put on his best posh accent and Alem was keeping quiet as he didnt know what he had to say. Once they got into the building, the man at the counter took them to their room and they were talking about how they only have 4 night but the man who had a massive beard was complaining that that stay is too less. It was just Mr Kelo was tired
The next day the two of them were going to set off to a number of places like the museum, Picadilly cirus, Leicester square and all the other places to see. Once completing their journey to numerous places, they went for food and because they lived in Europe they had to get Italian as it was close to them. They talked about the facts of Italy and Alem loved the spaghetti he ordered. After they went to the hotel and slept for the rest of the day.
The next morning it was their first time of trying English breakfast but it was brought to their room however the rest of their meals were brought to the dining room downstairs. That day Alem went on an adventure round London and was finding that they were many types of churches and different monastrys. Once he came back he was surprised when one of the staff called him a lad.
The next morning after breakfast, two ladies came into their hotel room. One called Mariam and one called Pamela. They were talking about how they could help Alem and his father about their issue. One of them was able to speak Ethiopian so Alem was greeted the way he would normally be treated.
