  • I have no evidence. No will believe me.
  • You should tell the court the truth!
  • It must be Abigail! She wants to kill me!
  • You must not go to court again, Mary!
  • But I saved Mistress's life today!
  • Can you state all your commandments?
  • DANG! What is the last one?
  • Nonsense! There are so many witches out there!
  •  Elizebeth Proctor tells Mr. proctor to tells  Ezekiel Cheever, that Abigail said that Betty's sickness had nothining to do with witch craft.
  • Abigail said this had nothing to do with witchcraft!
  • I don't believe any of it !
  • Hard proof! You cursed Abigail with this puppet
  • Mary Warren who attended the trial, came back and gave Elizabeth a puppet. When she was arguing with Proctor she told them 39 women had been arrested and Elizabeth was also accused at the court.
  • Let go of my wife!
  • John Hale came, telling the couple Rebecca Nurse was charged for killing Putnam's babies. Finding  the Proctors suspicious. He questioned Proctor about church going habit and hen asked him to state his  commandments. Proctor remembered nine of he ten, but Elizabeth kept reminding him of the missing one which was adultery.
  • You MUST testify on the court for my wife!
  • No....No Please...
  • Proctor told Hale about his conversation with Abigail but Hale refused to believe it since there were so many people had confessed to witchcraft. Proctor reminded him that if people did not confess, they would be hanged. Elizabeth denied all belief in witches.
  • Cheever arrived with a warrant and arrested Elizabeth because Abigail accused Elizabeth stabbed a needle in her belly using a puppet. Proctor tried stop Cheever and Mary also admitted Abigail saw her making the puppet in the court. But Cheever still took Elizabeth away.
  • I made the puppet....Abigail saw it.
  • Proctor was furious and sad. He didn't want Elizabeth to die because of him. He demanded Mary to go to court and testify against Abigail, but she sobbed that she could not.
