Once, there was a man named Joseph, he had 11 other brothers. His father had a favourite, he was his favourite. In fact, he favoured him so much that his father got him a rainbow coat. This made his brothers ANGRY!
So they threw him down a pit. They figured this wasn’t good enough so they sold him as a slave. When they said he was dead, his father cried and they gave him the cloak.
When Joseph was giving out food, he came across his brothers but they didn’t recognise Joseph. Although they did do something very wrong he was very happy to see them. He told them to leave for a few minutes because he will cry.
Why did you do that to me? 😭😭
Joseph told his brothers who he really was. His brothers felt very bad and asked for forgiveness. Joseph forgave them. That is the story of Joseph.
Joseph was a servant for a man named Potiphar. He was put in charge, that made Joe happy. Until one day, he was accused for something he didn’t do and was sent to jail. The guard in jail liked Joe so much, he put him in charge of all the prisoners. (He was in Egypt)
One day, the pharaoh had a nightmare but nobody knew what it meant. Joseph knew, it meant that they would have 7 years with loads of food and 7 years without. Joe suggested that they save food in the 7 good years. The pharaoh loved the idea, he put him in charge too. This meant that Joe had to hand out food to the people when they came to get it.
