The Boston Tea Party
Why am I here again?
The Boston Massacre was an event which contained the deaths of 5 people along with the wounding of others. The man leading them all was put to jail for ordering his men to shoot, or so they say. This of course angered colonists, which was one of the reasons why the war happened in the first place.
By far one of the most popular protests was the Boston Tea Party, in which colonists dressed up as Natives and boarded a ship filled with tea. These colonists then proceeded to get rid of the tea that was there. While the people were grateful for this, British weren't as much.
The main reason any of this had ever happened in the first place, why the Boston Massacre occurred, and why these protests were put into play, was because of taxes that the British were putting on the colonists. With no one to represent them, they felt it was unfair and took the matter into their own hands.
