So what is the first amendment of the Bill of Rights?
The First Amendment
Well it means that I have the freedom of religion, speech, petition, assembly, and knowing the truth from the press.
Hey! You're not allowed to have that gun out here.
The Second Amendment
Seventh and Eighth amendment
Actually according to the second amendment of the Bill of Rights, I have the right to keep and bear arms.
The Third and Fourth Amendment
The Ninth and Tenth Amendment
Hey! Military dude! During peacetime in war, you are not allowed to use my home as a quarter.
Also, police guy, you can't search my home unless you convinced a judge beforehand that you have a good reason to think I've committed a crime
However, there is not enough evidence against you and you cannot be tried twice for this crime. You are free to go.
The fifth and sixth amendment
We have given you the right to be told details of the supposed crime; a prompt, public trial; to an impartial, or neutral, jury; to challenge accusers; to find people who will speak in their favor; and to have a lawyer.
We have the right to a trial by jury.
Um, punishment, bail, and fines must be reasonable - not cruel or unusual - even for people convicted of a crime (sassy).
We have rights other than those listed in then those listed in the constitution that the government cannot interfere with!
Also, Congress cannot do anything other than what the Constitution says it can do. All else is left up to the states or to the people!
