Storyboard Text

  • Old Major, the pig leading the Animal Farm delivers a speech to the animals based on a dream he had, inspiring them to lead a rebellion in which the animals take over.
  • It will be time for a Rebellion!
  • The animals of the farm join Old Major in the singing of ‘Beasts of England’, a tune from Old Major’s childhood, which he develops words to. It becomes the anthem of the farm.
  • One day, the animals find the perfect opportunity to perform their rebellion, driving Mr. Jones and the other humans out, leaving the farm to themselves.
  • The new leaders Napoleon and Snowball set out to write out the Seven Commandments (pigs have learned to write), which are the rules which the farm is to follow, opposing humans. The other animals realize that there is something suspicious. The milk from the cows is missing.
  • We cannot be anything like the humans!
  • There is no milk!
  • The pig Squealer, who acts as a spokesperson for the two leader pigs, reassures the animals that the pigs took the milk for the best interest of the farm.
  • Do not worry, the pigs have received this food for the best interest of the farm.
  • Mr. Jones comes back to take back the farm, leading to the Battle of the Cowshed, eventually won by the animals. Snowball gets shot in the process, active in the battle.
  • I want my farm back!
  • AHHHH!!!
