Jack wakes up early in the morning to plant crops and water his tiny plants. He was a farmer who supports his small family of 4. His job was easy because there in the Mid-Atlantic they had good faming weathers which made his crops grow faster.
Their colony was known as the "bread basket". Jack and his wife, Mary, chose to live here because if was very easy to live there. For example the weather was nice which made it easy to plant crops.
Another reason why they chose to live here was because there was religious freedom. People over here could choose whichever religion they wanted
They go to the church every Saturday after watering their crops
Jack's family were Quakers.
Jack's children help them pick up wheat and grow wheat.
