  • “All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!” The witches predict that Macbeth shall be Thane of Cawdor and future king.
  • Act 4
  • ”Don’t listen to the bell Duncan, because it summons you either to heaven or hell” Macbeth is telling Duncan not to listen to the bell because it is the signal for Macbeth to murder Duncan.
  • Act 5
  • “To be thus is nothing, but to be safely thus. Our fears in banquo stick deep, and in his royalty of nature reigns that would be feared.” Macbeth hires three murderes to kill Banquo in fear of Banquo.
  • ”By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes” The witches tell of the arrival of Macbeth.
  • Malcolm disguises his army with the branches of Bunsinane. While fighting Macbeth Macduff tells Macbeth how he was not born from a woman. Macduff later beheads Macbeth after battling him. It is announced after the death of Macbeth that Malcolm will be crowned king. ”Tell thee, Macduff was from his mother’s womb untimely ripped.”
