Evaporation and Transpiration
There are four stages in the water cycle
Transformed Water vapor.
Precipitation and Run Off
Infiltration is when the fallen precipitation filters through the groundwater and makes its way into an area of collected water.
When the groundwater heats up from the sun, it transforms into a gas called Water vapor.Transpiration is when the water from the trees evaporates into Water vapor. And the hotter and windier it is outside, the faster the water evaporates.
Condensation is when the Water vapor, (evaporated groundwater) in the air transforms into clouds, fog or frost. And inside of the clouds is precipitation that will fall as rain or freeze into snow, sleet, or hail.
Precipitation is the form the water takes when it falls from the clouds to the ground. It can take the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail. Run-off is the accumulation of the fallen fallen precipitation.
