Storyboard Text

  • the 19th amendment states that you cant be denied the right to vote based on whether you are a girl or boy. It was created for women suffrage.
  • Since we can all vote, who are you guys voting for?
  • I can vote now too!
  • Amendment 15, somewhat similar to the 19th said that men could vote no matter their skin/ethnicity. The amendment was ratified on February 3, 1870, but it wasn't fully recognized until almost a century later.
  • I can't believe that I can vote now.
  • Yeah, it took them long enough to let people vote no matter their race.
  • The 18th amendment made alcohol illegal. The reason for this was because some men would come home when they were drunk, and beat their wives, so they decided just to eliminate all alcohol which is prohibition, but this didn't work out so well so they had to create the 21st amendment later on, which just repealed the 18th.
  • I'm sorry sir, we don't sell that here.
  • I want my alcohol!!!
