The whiskey rebellion started in 1791-1794. The whiskey Rebellion started when the Gov. put taxes on Whiskey. The farmers where angry about the tax because whiskey was made by corn and because they also had to pay taxes on whiskey they have produced. In 1794 President George Washington led a military force to Pennsylvania to stop the Rebellion.

Marbury v Madison is a Supreme court case that established Judicial review. Judicial review means that the supreme court can review decisions and decide if they are constitutional or unconstitutional. Marbury v Madison took place when Thomas Jefferson was President (1801-1809).
The Alien act Started the same time the Sedition act, and the sedition act and the alien act are the same. So if immigrants came to the U.S. the government was allowed tot send them back to their hometown. The congress passed the Alien and Sedition act.

The Louisiana Purchase took place in 1803. Thomas Jefferson wanted more land and also wanted the Mississippi river. He told general Napoleon that he would give 15 million dollars for Louisiana. The Mexicans gave the land to France in a secret treaty then the France gave the land to the Americans.
