Storyboard Text

  • Negative Natalie and Positive Patrick are working hard on a History project together at the library when Annoying Andy approaches them.
  • Hey guys! What are you guys doing here? Do you know where the fiction books are? Wow, that seems like an interesting book Patrick.
  • Andy just go away. Can't you tell we are busy? We don't have time to listen to you. We need to finish our project.
  • RED LIGHT - It is time to stop and think. Natalie's reaction to Andy was not justified. I shouldn't react impulsively like her. I should use the traffic light model to showcase self-control.
  • YELLOW LIGHT - Now I should think through the situation and let my nerves and impulses settle. What options do I have?
  • Option 1: Fire back at Andy like Natalie did. However, this option is not calm or respectful. Additionally, I will hurt Andy's feelings.
