  • A new law from the King, states that we are raising tax revenue.
  • Boston Massacre 1773
  • Boston Tea Party 1773
  • We will be telling the colonists that they can only buy tea from England.
  • The British soldiers announcing that tax revenue is being raised due to the French and Indian War debt.
  • Intolerable Acts 1774
  • You colonists must house, us soldiers!
  • British soldiers were stationed in Boston and a shot was fired into the crowd and chaos broke out.
  • First Continental Congress 1774
  • The British soldiers are being sent to tell colonists that they can only buy tea from England.
  • Lexington and Concord 1775
  • Military rule was imposed on the city and citizens that they had to house military British soldiers.
  • 12 out of 13 met in Philadelphia to discuss what is happening in New England, which did not make colonists mad, but helped bring them together.
  • Parliament rejected every request made by the First Constitutional Congress, and a shot was fired during a tense stand off and the American Revolution begun.
