  • What is abortion? Abortion is when pregnancy is ended so that it doesn't result the birth of the child. Why do people abort especially teenagers? They abort because they don't want the child, one reason can be pressure from the parent to abort the child, another reason is that you can think that you are not ready to have a child and treat him like a baby. Is abortion necessary? A woman may decide to have an abortion due to her personal circumstances. But there are also medical reasons why an abortion may result necessary Facts:
  • 1. Eighteen percent of U.S. women obtaining abortions are teenagers; those aged 15–17 obtain 6% of all abortions, 18–19-year-olds obtain 11%, and teens younger than 15 obtain 0.4% 2. Women in their 20s account for more than half of all abortions: Women aged 20–24 obtain 33% of all abortions, and women aged 25–29 obtain 24%. 3. About 61% of abortions are obtained by women who have at least one child 4. When you total up all forms of abortion, the grand total comes to more than a million abortions performed in the United States every single year. 5. Planned Parenthood performs more than 300,000 abortions every single year.
