John is driving in his blue car. He sees that his lane is free and is rushing past this intersection to get to his work on time, But he doesn't realise he is speeding and the light is red.
John's speeding causes him to lose control of the car and he braces for the worst. Speeding contributes to almost half of car accidents in Australia.
John and the orange car get into a head-on collision. The woman in the car and John both get into serious injury and are stuck for three hours before the fire fighters can cut him out of the car.
if only and didn't speed
It's been a few months and John hasn't still properly recovered from the accident. He had his legs amputated from the knees down, and the woman he hit was killed.
Instead of jail, however, he was moved to a psychiatric hospital which is like jail due to his POTSDAM and his suicide attempt in hospital.
John now lives in regret for the one mistake he made in his decision making. Speeding cost him and others their lives, and he wishes everyday that he slowed down just 5km/h so he could have prevented the crash.
