In Act 1 Scene 1 Iago and Roderigo talk about their hatred on Othello because he took Iago"s job and Roderigo's "wife."
"What a full fortune does the thick-lips own if he can carry it off thus!"
I do not understand.
In Act 1 Scene 2 Iago is talking to Cassio about Othello married to Desdemona, who is Barbantio's daughter.
Faith, he tonight hath boarded a land carrack; if it prove lawful prize, he's made forever
"My daughter! Oh my daughter!"
In Act ! Scene 3 Barbantio is awfully upset at Othello and his daughter because his daughter is dating a moor which upsets him greatly.
"Ay to me!"
