- I don’t know where it came from but I know where it’s going.

- Doris was shoveling the snow off her driveway when all the sudden she spotted a stray puppy shivering. She called out for it.
- CLIMAX
- Her parents weren’t fond with the idea of the puppy.
- FALLING ACTION
- They let the dog stay in the basement until the snow cleared.
- RESOLUTION
- When the weather cleared, it was time to take the dog to the shelter. Doris couldn’t stand seeing her father taking the dog away so she hid in her room crying.
- When Doris’s dad saw the inhuman state of the shelter he had compassion for the puppy and decided to bring it back home to her crying daughter.
- Her parents made the effort to keep the dog. The puppy had a new family.
