  • Peter's perception was that it was funny when the other villagers came running   to "save him from the wolf" but the reality was the villagers were annoyed and when he called, "WOLF" the  third  time the people did not come because they didn't believe that there was a real wolf there.  The third time the boy Peter called wolf there really was a wolf  and it ate Peter, and all the sheep.
  • Days after  the incident the villagers forgot about it .   Peter would  pay attention to   the sheep but would get very bored easily, again he decided it would be funny to   yell "WOLFFFFF," and again the villagers ran with pitch  forks and fire to scare again the wolf they thought was there. When they arrived  running up the hill to save the poor boy and his sheep ,  there was just peter sitting there on a rock.
