Once upon a time, way back in history, there were two gods called Prometheus and Epimetheius.
Now I understand why they say practice means perfect!
One day, Prometheus got in trouble with Zeus. Something or other. But Zeus did not order fire (to kill him) because he was a warm heart man and also because they needed it for food and warmth and ect. But Prometheus disobeyed him and gave man secret of fire and Zeus was furious so he chained him to a rock for many years.
You may now kiss the bride...
Zeus knew that chaining Prometheus to a rock was not enough punishment. So he went after Epimtheues. But he was not going to do the same as he did to Prometheus, zeus had a much more sneaky punishment in mind...
The plan was simple. Zeus ordered the handy-man (the maker of things) to make Zeus a daughter. He made it out of clay, but she was absolutely beautiful. He brought her to life and then brought her to Zeus. She was named Pandora.
Everyone knew Epimetheius was a warm - hearted and kindgod. But he was not a fool. he knew there was something wrong. But he fell in love with Pandora at first sight. Then, they where married.
Zeus gave Pandora a wedding gift. It was a box. With the box there was a note that said in big bold letters: DO NOT OPEN. Pandora was really curious about what was inside. So when she was alone. she opened it with her hands trembling. Suddenly, hate and disease and anger came out of the box!! Pandora was absolutely petrified!! Then, a little bug cam out of the box and that bug was hope. And hope made all the difference in the world.
