  • Growing  Tensions between the Colonies and Britain
  • These are our Acts!!!!!
  • The Quartering Act 
  • Aren't you going to make my breakfest and watch my coat?
  • The Stamp Act
  • Taxes! Come on Colonist, come pay your taxes!!!
  • By: Isabella Elizondo  What led to these acts were when the Indian and French war ended, it left Britain with big debts and a lot of land to protect. So Britain passed laws that were called acts.
  • The Boston Massacre
  • The Quartering Act was when a British soldier was allowed to stay at your home. The British were scared that other settler's my attack this colonies so they made this Act. A lot of the Colonist treated the British soldier's badly because they didn't want the soldiers at their Quarters.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • The Stamp Act was when colonist had to pay a tax on printed paper, and to make sure the colonist payed this tax they would stamp it with a large blue stamp.
  • Intolerable Acts
  • On March 5, 1770 the bad feelings erupted in violence. At 9 o'clock a crowed gathered around the soldiers and made fun of there names and coats. The soldiers had there guns ready but one soldier miss heard and started shooting and then all the soldiers stared to shoot the angry colonist.
  • The British decided to only have one store sell tea, This is called the Tea Act. the Tea Act lowered the cost of Tea ,but it still made the colonist very angry. So one night Native American's climbed aboard the ship with the Tea and poured 90000 pounds of tea in the water.
  • After the Boston Tea party, The British decided to forbid any ships entering and leaving the harbor. This led to the colonist fighting back on the Boston Port Act and the Intolerable Act's.
