  • Battle Of Yorktown Comic Strip Isabella Martorana Pd.4
  • General Washington and Rochambeau created an alliance and prepared to march towards Yorktown, Virginia to engage in a battle with the British.
  • Will you assist me in defeating the British? We have plans to march to Yorktown and surround Cornwallis and his troops.
  • The colonists and French soldiers prepared for the battle and all made their way towards Yorktown.
  • The British had been completely surrounded and blockades formed by the French and Americans cut off their supplies.
  • You are surrounded and outnumbered! You must surrender, you and your troops cannot survive our attack!
  • Oh no...
  • By the end of the battle, General Cornwallis was completely hopeless and decided to surrender . The outcome of the war was that the Americans were victorious! The Americans and the French had successfully defeated the British!
  • I surrender.
  • The Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3, 1783. It officially ended the war and made the United States an independent nation!
  • We did it! We won the Revolutionary War!
