  • France's expansion into the Ohio River Valley brought reapeated conflict with the British Colonies.
  • Series of these battles led to the official British Declaration of war in 1756.
  • Britain's economy was suffering because of debt, caused by the war. Which further led to the tax that angered the colonist in the beginning.
  • The French and Indian War or the ¨Seven Years War”, took place in North America, from 1754 to 1763.
  • By September 1760, the British had power over all of North American, the war between the two countries was over.
  • The results of the war, it ended French political and cultural influence in North America. England gained massive amounts of land and hugely strengthened its hold on the continent.
