Storyboard Text

  • Paris tells Frair Lawrence that Capulet said it would be good for her to marry him, because she is very upset about her cousin, Tybalt's, death and could use someone to be there for her and help her stop thinking about it.
  • (Tybalt) The death of my dear Juliet's dear cousin Tybalt has caused her to be upset and Capulet wants me to marry her, so she will feel better.
  • (Frair Lawrence) To himself I wish I didn't know why the wedding of Tybalt and Juliet is postponed.
  • Juliet enters and Paris leaves. Juliet tells Frair Lawrence how she doesn't want to marry Paris, but she wants to see Romeo. Frair tells Juliet that she should tell her parents she will marry Paris then drink the potion which will make her parents believe she's dead, then Romeo can take her to Mantua and they can finally be together.
  • (Juliet) Frair, help me i would rather die than marry Paris!
  • Marry Paris, Juliet, then drink this potion that will make you seem dead then Romeo will come take you to Mantua.
  • Juliet goes home to tell her parents that she will marry Paris. Her parents are excited and are preparing for the wedding, and decide to move the wedding to Wednesday, a day early.
  • Mom and Dad, I have decided I will marry Paris!
  • (Capulet and Lady Capulet) That is great dear! Let us move the wedding up to Wednesday
  • Please let me sleep alone. (When the Nurse and Lady Capulet leave, Juliet drinks the potion)
  • Juliet wants the nurse and her mom to leave so she can follow Frair Lawrence's plan and drink the potion in hopes that she can finally see Romeo. She has a dream that Tybalt's ghost searching for Romeo.
  • We will leave you alone as you wish. Goodnight Juliet.
  • When the nurse and Juliet's parents check on her in the morning they wonder why she is not waking up and soon come to realize that she is dead. They are devastated.
  • Oh no... our dear Juliet is dead.
  • Gentlemen, will you please play an upbeat tune to life the spirits of these people after this tradgey?
  • Peter and the Capulet servants ask the musicians to play a positive tune, but they deny the request, for they do not think that is appropriate for a time like this.
  • We are sorry, but we don't think we should play a positive tune right now. Goodbye we are leaving.
