  • Silly Lucifer, don't you know you can only use between for 2 items in a sentence and among for 3 or more. 
  • Actually, Lucifer was right.Here's the deal: you can use the word “between” when you are talking about distinct, individual items even if there are more than two of them. On the other hand, you use “among” when you are talking about things that aren't distinct items or individuals
  • Well, among all these people, I don't think I am going to kill the jester
