  • Under the Articles of Confederation the new nation had serious money problems.
  • Please buy my Carrots I have no money.
  • The states reacted to the money problem buy creating their own currencies
  • This is for Maine, this is for Massachusetts...
  • The money shortage was hard on the farmers especially who couldn't pay of their debts.
  • How am I supposed to pay off my debt if I don't even know how much this coins is.
  • Judges ordered the Framers to sell their land in order to pay off their debts, the farmers rebelled against the judges. This was led by Daniel Shays
  • Come on friends, lets go close down this court. RAHH!
  • The Massachusetts government ended Shays' Rebellion in early 1787 by sending militia troops to Springfield to restore order.
  • HALT!!
  • Shays' Rebellion shocked Congress into calling for a convention to consider “the situation of the United States.” They eventually revised the paper and now it's the Constituion.
  • Maybe we should change it.
