This storyboard does not have a description.
"...because she happened to hold the long broom in her hand she tried to tickle Gregor with it...and only when she had shoved him from his place without any resistance did she become attentive" (176).
This shows that is plausible Gregor's death was due to the apple in his back, his state of health as a bug, and his eating habits- for Gregor rarely ate. This also causes drama in the story and adds to the family's problems and sorrows.
In my opinion, I believe that this dung beetle was not in fact Gregor who died but a fragment of the family's imagination. I have reason to believe that Gregor died at war and this is the family's way of coping with his loss, to say goodbye.
