Storyboard Text

  • Stanza 1
  • Stanza one states the world is as big as you make it. Our speaker knows because she used to follow with everybody else. She states in a metaphor that she would stay in the corner of the nest with her wings pressed together. By that she means she would be in a corner of society and would not speak up or be unordinary
  • Stanza 2
  • Soccer Tryouts Sign Up
  • Stanza two states that the sky-line encircled the sea. And i throbbed with a burning desire, to travel this immensity. I think this stanza means that when you have a desire to do something you do not know if you can do, you should try it anyway. Even if it does not go as expected, at least you tried
  • I made the team because i believed in myself!
  • Stanza 3
  • Stanza 3 states: I battered the cordons around me and cradled my wings on the breeze, then soared to the uttermost reaches with rapture, with power, with ease! This means that She was held back maybe by people or voices in her head telling her that she can not do it but she did it anyway. This stanza means you have to believe in yourself to succeed at something.
